Hummus with Beef Shawarma
Ingredients:
* Can of chickpeas
* 1/2 cup Lemon Tahini sauce
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 pound of shaved beef
* 2 tbsp Zesty Shawarma marinade
* Extra virgin olive oil and extra lemon tahini for drizzling
* Optional: toasted pine nuts
Directions:
Marinate your beef while you prepare the homemade hummus
Mix a rinsed and drained can of hummus with 1/2 cup lemon tahini sauce and 1 tsp salt in a food processor (if you have extra time boil the chickpeas for 15 mins so theyre extra soft before blending them or cook them from scratch!)
Sear the shaved steak for 2-3 minutes per side on med high heat. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
Plate your hummus in a bowl. Add some extra lemon tahini sauce. Pile the beef on top and drizzle with olive oil and (optionally) the toasted pine nuts!
